Thanks again to Melissa Lawyer for another great highlight video from YXL Glorieta 2010!
These are the notes from my talk on honoring each other in relationships at YXL Glorieta 2010. Several of you asked for copies but I didn’t have enough handouts. It’s a PDF file, you can right click the link to save it.
Several of you asked for a list of the songs we sang at YXL Glorieta 2010. Here’s the full list by day:
As you pack for YXL this week, don’t forget to check the What to Bring page!
Check-in is between 2pm-5pm on Saturday. Counselors and staff will meet at 5pm to go over everything for the week, and dinner is at 6pm.
Friday June 25th is the last day to register for YXL Glorieta 2010. You MUST REGISTER ONLINE even if you’ve sent in your release forms and other paperwork. That goes for counselors and staff too.
We still have a couple of folks who have told us they are coming but haven’t sent in registrations, and a few other people who have sent their paperwork but haven’t registered online.
We’re going to have a packed house this year folks, it should be fun!
Our speakers for 2010 will be Chad Scruggs, Tom Franklin, Patrick Tebanno, and Rick Schaeffer. Read more about our speakers and staff for YXL Glorieta 2010.
Here are the audio recordings of Stu Kerns’ talks Sunday through Thursday, and David Poteet’s talk on Friday night. There’s a strange clicking noise in the background as though someone is opening and shutting a three-ring binder – no idea what’s causing that. Read More »
This is a written version of the talk I gave on the last night of YXL Glorieta 2009. YXL is often described as a “mountaintop†experience, and I wanted to help us think about what it means to come down from the mountain. We spent the whole week with Pastor Stu Kerns teaching us out of the Apostle Peter’s first letter. Peter himself was no stranger to mountaintop experiences, so we looked at two mountaintops in Peter’s life and the difference between them.

Melissa Thomas edited a great short promo video, including several of the testimonials that Seth recorded. Share it, show it at church!
